Privacy policy

This policy explains what information The Prayer Lead collects through this site, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

Effective September 8, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to theprayerlead.com and to information submitted through the forms on this site. It also describes how information shared during a consultation, assessment, or training engagement is handled.

The Prayer Lead is a prayer ministry consulting and training practice. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean The Prayer Lead.

Information you give us

The forms on this site ask for information such as your name, email address, phone number, church or organization name, role, and the details of your inquiry. You choose what to submit; fields marked required are the minimum needed to respond.

If you subscribe to receive articles and updates, we store your first name and email address for that purpose.

During an engagement, we may receive additional material about your ministry — leadership structures, documents, team rosters, and internal practices. That material is treated as confidential and is covered by section 06.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard technical data when a page is requested: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and to understand general traffic patterns.

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.

How we use information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to prepare for and carry out consultations, assessments, training, and implementation work, to send the updates you asked for, to keep records of our engagements, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it. We do not use ministry information submitted to us for marketing to third parties.

Service providers

A small number of providers process information on our behalf so that this site can function: a web host that serves these pages, a form service that delivers form submissions to our email, an email provider, and an email delivery service for subscriber updates.

Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function and is not permitted to use that information for its own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights or safety of a person.

Confidentiality of ministry information

Consulting and training work often involves sensitive detail about a church’s leadership, its people, and its internal history. We treat that detail as confidential.

We do not identify a client church in published work, case examples, or promotional material without written permission. Where we describe patterns drawn from our work, examples are generalized so that no church or individual is identifiable.

Prayer requests and personal matters shared with us in the course of an engagement are not recorded in our marketing systems and are not shared outside the people directly involved in the work.

Retention

Inquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward as a record of the conversation. Engagement records and deliverables are kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long as required for our business and legal records.

Subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any email we send, or by writing to us. You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@theprayerlead.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Some records may need to be retained where we have a legal or accounting obligation to keep them.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls and providers that transmit data over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is directed to church leaders and adults acting on behalf of a ministry. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a child’s information has been submitted to us, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practice or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
